Lindsey Watson - Owner
The owner of A Groom With A View is Lindsey Watson and she has been working with and caring for animals for 13 years and been actively involved in professional grooming for 9 years.
A groom with a view was established in 2005. At A Groom With A View we know how to professionally groom dogs and cats in a way that makes them feel as comfortable as possible in a salon environment, because for many breeds professional grooming is a life time necessity and it is far nicer for them if the time they spend being groomed can be as stress free as possible. We achieve this by taking the time to get to know the animals in our care. No groom is ever rushed and is always performed to the highest standard.
Owner Lindsey Watson has qualifications in animal behaviour and training, nutrition, animal first aid, professional grooming and much more.
Andrea Sayer - Manager and professional pet groomer
Andrea has worked alongside Lindsey for a number of years and now succesfully manages a groom with a view. Andrea enjoys trimming poodles and bichon frise and often takes care of any show trims. Andrea has a first diploma in animal care level 2 and the ABC level 3 certificate in dog gromming with a distinction. Should you need any advice or assistance, Andrea will be happy help.
Clare Stainton - professional pet groomer
Clare is a qualified and experienced groomer having a national diploma in animal care and an NVQ level 2 including first aid. Clare has also completed a level 2 city and guilds in dog grooming and is currently studying post graduate in vetinary physiotherapy.Clare specialises in handstrips and is always very patient with timid dogs.
Sarah Barton - Professional grooming assistant
Sarah has previously worked as a senior kennel assistant for a number of years as well as gaining experience in grooming, she has a Bse Honors degree in animal management and welfare. Sarah also runs our collection and delivery service aswell as insuring all of the animals welfare is taken care of.
We ensure your pet is NEVER left alone, fresh water is always available, dogs are
taken to the toilet, talked to, played with and not forgetting their doggy treat as they leave the
salon.
